SAMIRA SINGH
COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST
Hi! I am a Counselling Psychologist, and I help people create and live meaningful, fulfilling, authentic lives.
Over time, certain experiences, events, or beliefs can imprint themselves on our psyche — subtly (or sometimes not so subtly) overriding our authentic self, our natural will. As a result, we may find ourselves out of sync — unable to act in ways that truly feel like us. That sense of “this feels right,” “I belong here,” or “this fits” can become distant or elusive.
This experience can be deeply confusing, frustrating, disorienting — even disheartening at times.
I support people in recognising, recalibrating — even reprogramming — the patterns that no longer serve them, so they can realign with their authentic selves. This alignment often brings a deeper sense of meaning, contentment, and ease.
This process asks for intentional, committed effort — a willingness to turn inward. To notice your emotions, thoughts, and reactions. To sit with them. Process them. Integrate what serves you. Let go of what doesn’t. And ultimately, to shape a life that feels more like your own.
This is how I understand and envision the process of counselling and psychotherapy — a deeply human journey toward clarity, authenticity, and meaning.
Services Offered
Individual Counselling/Psychotherapy sessions
I have been practising as a counselling psychologist since 2021, offering individual sessions to young adults (18–30 years). I am a trauma-informed practitioner and take an eclectic, person-centered approach—tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each client. My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and creating a safe space for self-exploration and healing.
I am trained in Clinical EFT (Level 2), and I integrate this, along with other therapeutic tools, to support clients in managing a wide range of concerns. These often include low self-esteem, stress and anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences.
Many of my clients come to therapy expressing feelings such as:
• “I don’t feel like getting out of bed or doing anything.”
• “I’m perpetually anxious.”
• “I don’t know who I am or what I want.”
• “I’ve lost the person I used to be.”
• “I carry this hurt that I can’t let go.”
• “I’m surrounded by people but still feel lonely.”
• “I feel like I’m always wearing a mask.”
• “I want to do more with my life, but I can’t seem to move forward.”
These statements reflect deeper struggles with identity, emotion regulation, motivation, and self-worth. Therapy with me offers a non-judgmental space to process these experiences, uncover personal insights, and move toward meaningful change—at your own pace.
If any of these feelings resonate with you, you’re not alone, and support is available.
